Charles Francis Blacketer of Crawfordsville, age 55, died Friday, October 9, in Culver Hospital emergency room. He was born at Linden, December 29, 1925, the son of Charles and Bessie Katherine Vail Blacketer. July 2, 1948, he married Marian Lorene Crissinger, who survives. Blacketer was employed with the Keystone Group since 1945 and was a member of Midstates 25-year Club.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sue Holmes of Covington; a son, Charles Andrew of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Douglas and Mrs. Mary VanCleave, both of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Marguerite Bradfield of Browns Valley; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Hunt and Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill mausoleum at Crawfordsville. – thanks to S
