Veedersburg -- Gordon A. Bonebrake, 65, died here Monday at his residence. He was born April 11, 1901 in Yeddo, a son of Charles E. and Lena Gray Bonebrake. He was married to Mary Lou Coffing Feb 18, 1929. Mr. Bonebrake had farmed near Kingman and Yeddo and had lived in Fountain County most of his life. Surviving besides the widow are a son, Captain Oren Bonebrake of Ft. Polk, LA; 3 stepsons, Darrel Bever, Dale Bever and Glen Bever of the Covington area; five sisters, Mrs. Opal Frazier of Evansville; Mrs. Lottsy Kaufman of Phoenix; Mrs. Mable Moulton of Danville, Ill; Mrs. Ruby Cloverdale of Rockville and Mrs. Doris Martin of Covington; a brother, Alva Bonebrake of Phoenix, AX; four grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Funearl services were conducted at 3 p.m. today at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Harold Fogle officiating. Burial in West Liberty Cemetery. - kbz
