A former Hillsboro resident, Jesse Frank BOOE, 91, of Crawfordsville, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday in the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown, where he had been a patient for the past six weeks. Born November 24, 1868 at Hillsboro, he was the son of Simpson and Sarah Kyle Booe. On October 20, 1902 he was married to Bertie Davis who died in1958. Mr. Booe a retired bricklayer, was a member of the Christian Church and of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors are a brother, Stebb Booe, of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Funeral services were held at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev John Servies officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. - kbz
