Hillsboro -- Mrs. Myrtle Booe, 79, widow of Thomas Booe, died Friday afternoon in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She had been in failing health two years and bedfast 7 months. A native of Fountain County, Mrs. Booe was born Aug 8, 1882, near Hillsboro, the daughter of George and Olive Frazier Hesler. She married Thomas booe in 1902. The husband died in 1946. Mrs. Booe was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church and treasurer of the church Aid Society several years. since the death of her husband she had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Frazier Hesler. Survivors include 3 brothers, Ralph, Fred and Frazier Hesler and a sister, Mrs. Olcie Colwell of Terre Haute. An infant son (Harold Hesler Booe) preceded her in death in addition to her husband (25 Aug 1946). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro. Rev. John Coil, pastor of the Christian Church will be officiating minister. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. -- kbz
