Noah Elmer Booe, 88, of 207 Poplar Street, Crawfordsville died Sunday night at Culver Hospital in that city, following a brief illness. Death was ascribed to complications. Mr. Booe was born in the Scott's Prairie neighborhood, southeast of Veedersburg on Nov 25, 1855, the son of John and Hannah Booe. He was married May 7, 1922 to Jennie Booe, who survives. Mr. Booe was a member of the Baptist Church. For many years he was a carpenter and contractor. He was previously married to Anna Bottorff many years ago. Survivors in addition to the widow are Mrs. George Maxwell, a sister and Mrs. Dora Alvord of Alamo and Mrs. Jennie Wade of Crawfordsville, both nieces. A daughter died two years ago. The body was taken to the Hunt & Sun funeral Home where funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. --- transcribed by kbz
