Services for Theodore Frank (Tom) Booe, age 57, of Veedersburg, who died Thursday, March 17 at Cole Hospital in Champaign, were held Saturday afternoon, March 19, at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Born April 19, 1902 at Hillsboro, he was the son of Steb and Lizzie Pithoud Booe. He was married April 19, 1924 to Bertha Hagerman, who survives. He moved to Veedersburg eight years ago and was formerly a brick contractor at Urbana. Other survivors include his father of Hillsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Lee Humphries of Bakers, N. Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Groves of Bloomington, Mrs. Elvira Bauer of Chicago and Mrs. Margaret Cooper of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Malcomb of Ervin, Ill.; Hubert of Hammond and Herbert of Urbana and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers and a sister. The Rev. George Mitchell officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery near Hillsboro.
