Mrs. Elizabeth Booher, one of Darlington's oldest citizens died at her home west of town, Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Booher had been in failing health for some time but not until Tuesday was her condition considered serious. Since the death of her husband, Wade H. Booher, last January she has been taken care of by Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Little. She was born July 2, 1834 and was 84 years 1 month and 5 days of age. On March 6, 1856, she was married to Wade H. Booher and practically her whole life was spent in this vicinity. Funeral services will be held at the home at 10 o'clock this morning in charge of Rev. E.L. Williams. Interment will be made at the Lutheran Cemetery. -- kbz
