Darlington -- Iremus BOOHER better known as Hink, who was past 83 was found dead in his bed this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ashley Martz, of 3 and a half miles north of here in Sugar Creek Twp. The deceased had eveidently been dead for some time when he was found by his daughter. A telephone message summoned Dr. Norman Peacock of this place and he went at once but found the man was past where medical aid would resuscitate him. The Dr. called Dr. Williams at Mace to come and take charge of the case. The coroner arrived later and held an inquiry and his verdict will doubtless be that death was due to natural causes as Mr. Booher had been ill with kidney trouble for the past two weeks. He did not appear to be in a serious condition last night when t he family retired. His daughter went to call him this morning and ask him what he desired for breakfast and found that he had passed away during the night. Mr. Booher was born on a farm 3 miles East of Darlington and most of his life had been spent in that vicinity. He was the son of Samuel Booher who was one of the leading farmers of Franklin Twp, the deceased was twice married. His first wife was the sister of the late Alexander Harper, one time sheriff of Montgomery County. She died many years ago. His second wife is still living but on account of a divorce they were not living together. Five daughters and two sons survive. The funeral will probably be conducted Sunday afternoon with interment in Deck Cemetery which is located in the neighborhood where the deceased was born and raised.  00 jbz
