New Ross -- Marvin Booher, 73-year-old life-long resident of this community died Sunday afternoon at his home here after a long illness. He was born Oct 26, 1885, in New Ross, the son of Flavius and Nancy Davis Booher. He was married in 1907 to Edna Cleveland. They were married in New Ross. Mr. Booher was a member of the New Ross Christian Church and Modern Woodmen Lodge of Crawfordsville. The only survivors are the widow and a daughter, Mrs. Thelma E. Ellis of California. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Ross Christian Church with Rev. Forest E. Graves officiating, assisted by Rev. Kenneth Arnold. Interment in New Ross IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the Booher residence after 6 p.m. Monday. -- kbz
