Wilda V. Boots, 65, of 2015 Cloverleaf Court, died suddenly at noon Thursday in the home of a granddaughter at 2022 Clover Drive. Mrs. Boots was retired from R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. after working there 29 years. Born Oct. 25, 1913, at Thorntown, she attended Darlington and Thorntown schools. She was married to Ned Boots who is deceased. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Daisy Lola Wilson of Thorntown; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Nall of Mellott; eight brothers, Bill Huddleson of Dayton, Ohio, Homer Huddleson of Lebanon, David and Don Guinn of Thorntown, Bob Wilson of Lebanon, Keith and Marvin Wilson of Thorntown and Ray Wilson of Danville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A brother, granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren are deceased. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Powers Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Gafford officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today.
