BERTHA VanCLEAVE BORAKER

Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal 28 March 1928

Yountsville, March 23 - Mrs. Bertha Boraker, wife of Frank Boraker, is dead at her home in Rocky Ford, Colo. following an extended illness. Mrs. Boraker passed away Tuesday morning according to a message received here. For many years Mrs. Boraker was a resident of the Yountsville community and leaves many friends here to mourn her death. She was about forty years of age and left here last May for Colorado in an attempt to restore her health. Death was caused by tuberculosis. Mrs. Boraker was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vancleave and is survived by her husband, three sons Walter, George and Herman, and one daughter Ethel. It is probable that she will be buried in Colorado.

Note: I believe that Bertha May VanCleave Boraker is the daughter of John R. & Nancy Ann VanCleave Vancleave - and she is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, Otero County, Colorado but her grave is not connected at all to anyone on findagrave.com.  Her dates are 1889-1928. Her husband is Frank H. Boraker 1885-1968 - see his obit on this site
