Wingate, Feb 15 - Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Mary M. Bottenberg, widely known woman who died Saturday. Burial was made in the Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. Bottenberg was born in the Bethel neighborhood in Fountain County on November 25, 1846 the daughter of Jesse and Julia Perto (Petro). She became the wife of Joseph Bottenberg on February 21, 1867. She became a resident of the WIngate neighborhood when she was 21 years of age.
Her husband died on October 31, 1924. She is survived by a sister and a foster daughter.
