Mrs. Flonnie E. BOWLES, 58, a resident of the Waynetown community since 1952, died Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient six days. Born Jan 5, 1898, (1893 - smudged) at Somerset, Ky, Mrs. Bowles was the daughter of Frank and Fannie Burdine Jackson. She married Hessie Bowles at Greencastle in 1920.

Mrs. Bowles was a member of the Browns Valley Baptist Church. She lived in the Waveland Community before moving to Waynetown. Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Lee Quisenberry, Rt. 4, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bonnie Allen of Waveland; two grandchildren, 3 brothers, Audie and Lester Jackson, both of Russellville and Edgar Jackson of Seattle, Washington; and three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Pontoes of Elwood; Mrs. Lucy Kelley of Russellville and Mrs. Sophia Bayless of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown; the Rev. John R. Servies officiating minister. Burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
