Robert Bowman, 69, Indianapolis, and formerly of Crawfordsville, died 7:27 a.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Bowman was senior vice president and chief operating officer at Lithonia Hi-Tek, Crawfordsville, from 1966-92. He then became a software designer at Shipping Supply.com from 1998 until the present. He was born Sept. 18, 1934, at Cleveland, Ohio, to George Joseph and Twyla Mae Graves Bowman. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; three sons, Bob Jr., Mark and Mike; two daughters, Karen Young and Audrey Rawnsley; a sister, Linda Wentzel; and nine grandchildren. A brother, Donald, is deceased. Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Oct. 11 in East 91st Street Christian Church, Indianapolis. Friends may call one hour prior to services. A.R.N. Cremation Services, Indianapolis, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. - kbz
