Services for Orvis S. Booher, 85, retired carpenter and construction engineer, who died Friday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alva Beck, 3735 Creston drive will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Bratton Brothers Funeral Home at Lebanon. Burial will be in Sugar Plain cemetery near Thorntown. Born in Montgomery County Mr. Booher had lived in Indianapolis 31 years. His wife, Mrs. Rhoda E. Booher died in 1902. Mr. Booher was employed several years by the American Construction Company. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors are two other daughters, Mrs. Lena Faulenburg, Jamestown and Mrs. Mary Bishop, Lebanon; a son, Ora A. Booher, Greentown; a sister, Mrs. Laura Emmert, Jamestown 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. - kbz
