William K. Booher died Thursday, July 19, at his home in Darlington, being eighty three years of age. The funeral took place Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church, east of Darlington. Elder Thomas Hamilton, of Lebanon, officiated.  Mr. Booher was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., March 29, 1817. He came to Franklin Township when quite young and resided there the balance of his life. In 1841 he was married to Artemesia Endicutt. For thirty years they lived on a farm which now belongs to Governor Mount and which is near his home place. Last May Mr. and Mrs. Booher were both taken ill and in their extremity refused to be separated. They occupied the same bed and expressed a wish to be with each other to the end. Several days ago Mrs. Booher died and now comes the death of the other. A life companionship here of sixty years is renewed; let us hope, in a land where parting is unknown. – thanks so much to s for tying this and so many obits for this site
