Funeral services in memory of William E. Boraker were held this Monday afternoon from Mt. Zion Church, conoducted by Rev. AM Snyder of Brook, Ind. Interment was made in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Boarker died Saturday morning about 11 o’clock at his home, two and one-half miles west of the city, at the age of 69 years. He had been ill about 5 years with a complication of diseases. He was born four miles west of Crawfordsville Nov 22, 1842 son of Daniel and Nancy Boarker. He was engaged in farming until ill health compelled him to retire. He was united in marriage with Lydia Ann Cope Jan 14, 1966 and to them 9 children were born of whom 7 are living. They are: Walter W; Dora May; Malinda Belle; Florence L; Kate C; Morton R and Clarence F; Henry E. and Samuel A. are dead. Mr. Boraker was a member of the United Brethren Church for 42 years.
