services for Aubrey Bowers, 76 years old, former Montgomery County school
teacher who died Thursday in Veteran's Hospital, Bay Pines, Fla will be held
later this week at Arlington, VA. Burial will be in Arlington national
Cemetery. Born at New Ross, Mr. Bowers had taught in Montgomery County schools
a number of years and worked as a Civilian in the Army Quartermaster Corps. He
served at Jeffersonville, Ind, Panama Canal Zone, Philippines, and France
before his retirement more than 10 years ago. SInce his retirement he had had
lived at Lakeland, Fla and was a member of Lakeland Christian Church. His son,
Dr. Warner Bowers is an army surgeon at Arlington, VA. Besides his son he is survived by his widow,
Mrs. Dorcas Bowers Lakeland Fla; two brothers, Edgar Virgil Bowers,
Indianapolis and Harley Bowers, Miami, Fla and a sister, Mrs. George H. Mosse
(sic) Arlington. - kbz
