Edmund Bowers, one of the oldest residents of Sugar Creek Township, died Saturday last at the residence of his son-in-law, L. D. Coyner, aged 80 years.

Edmund Bowers, one of the oldest pioneers of Montgomery County and father of Rev. Martin Bowers, died at his residence west of Colfax, Saturday night of dropsy. He was 80 years old last Sunday and moved to Montgomery County while the Indians were there in numbers.

Estate of Edmund Bowers, deceased – Notice of Appointment – Notice is hereby given that the undersigned has been appointed and duly qualified as admin of the estate of Edmund Bowers, late of Montgomery County, Indiana deceased.
