Bowers - Martha Dunbar - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Martha Jane Bowers, 86, a resident of Indianapolis 35 years died Thursday in her home at 1029 North Tecumseh Street.  Born in Montgomery County, Mrs. Bowers was a member of the East Tenth Street Methodist Church. Survivors are the husband, William Bowers; two sisters, Mrs. Anna C. Graves, Glendale, California and Mrs. Mary Harley, Washington Courthouse, O; a brother, JW Dunbar, Darlington; two nieces, Mrs. Blanche Case, Glendale and Mrs. Edwin C. Jose, Indianapolis and two nephews, Lawrence Graff, San Diego, Cal and B. Dunbar, Darlington. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Moore Mortuary Peace Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. – Martin Bowers married William and Martha Jane Dunbar in Montgomery County 15 July 1881.  Martin’s wife was Aunt Bettie (Elizabeth, Martha’s father’s sister).
