Russell C. Bowers, 72, of Key Largo, Fla., a former resident of South Bend died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday in a Kendall, Fla., hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Bowers was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., and lived and taught in New Market, Ind., many years. He was a counseling psychologist in South Bend and moved to Florida after retiring. Surviving are his widow, Bertha; a daughter, Mrs. Sara Soos of Cleveland, Ohio and three grandchildren. Services were to be at 2 p.m. today in Branam Funeral home, Homestead, Fla., Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park, Naranja, Fla. – thanks to Kim H
