Ladoga - Luther V. Bradley, 77, of Rt 2, Ladoga died Saturday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He was a director of Farmers State Bank of New Ross, a past director of Montgomery County Farm Bureau and a member, elder, treasurer and trustee of the New Ross Christian Church. Mr. Bradley, a retired farm, was graduated from New Ross HS. Born June 18, 1901, in Montgomery County, he was a son of James M. and Bertha L. Byrd Bradley. He was first married to Geneva Clark who died in Jan 1938. He then married Harriet Bastain August 1939. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Berniece) Warner of Peoria, Ill; two sons, William L of Rt 2, Ladoga and James E of Rt 2, Ladoga; a brother, G. Russell of Lafayette; five grandsons and nephews. A brother, Paul J. is deceased. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Ross Christian Church where the body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call today at Perkins Funeral Home at Ladoga.
