The death of Mrs. Christina Brandkamp occurred last evening at her home just W. of the college, she having been ill for some time with a complication of diseases. The funeral will occur tomorrow at half past 10 o'clock from St. Bernard's Church. Mrs. Brandkamp was born in Wieden Bruch, Province of Westphalia, Prrusia May 23, 1822 and came to Crawfordsville in 1860. She was a consistent member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and was a lady widely known and loved for her many Christian graces. - typed by kbz

Mrs. Christina Brandkamp died at her home, corner of Wabash and Milligan Streets at 11:30 o’clock last night. Death was due to old age and a complication of diseases superinduced by the grip. The deceased was born in Weldon Brilick, West Phalia, Prussia, May 23, 1822 and emigrated to American in 1850. She removed to Crawfordsville in 1860 where she has since resided, loved and respected by all who knew her and a devout member of the Catholic Church. The funeral will be held at St. Bernard’s church at 10 o’clock tomorrow. – kbz
