Mrs. Rowena BRANIGAN, widow of William H. (Hughey) Branigan former resident of Kirkpatrick, died Sunday at her home in Frankfort. She had been in failing health 3 years and bedfast several months. A resident of the Kirkpatrick neighborhood most of her life, Mrs. Branigan had lived in Frankfort in recent years. Her husband died several years ago. Surviving are two sons, Clarence of Miami, Fl; and Ralph of Frankfort; five daughters, Mrs. Cleo Bowles of Linden; Mrs. Pauline Woods of Frankfort; Mrs. Izora Coopman of Clarks Hill and Mrs. Clara Briney of Frankfort, and several other relatives, living in Crawfordsville and vicinity. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial in Darlington IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Coe, Mr. and Mrs. William Branagin [sic- Branigan, (her first name was Rowena)], Charles and Haven Davis were in Lafayette Monday.
