Enoch BRANSON, one of the oldest citizens of the county, was found dead at his home near Parkersburg on Monday morning by a neighbor who went there to use the telephone. He was lying on his face with a coal of coal oil in his hand and had evidently been going to start a fire. He was born in Union, Tennessee Dec 8, 1846 and was married to Esther Taylor Sept 17, 1871. He is survived by the widow and four sons: Wilbur of Crawfordsville; Hugh of Parkersburg; Clinton of Bloomington and Dr. BH Branson of Chicago. The home burned some months ago.
