NEW MARKET- Wilber Temple Branson, 87-year-old retired railroader, died Tuesday evening at the home of Howard Hester west of New Market. He was born near Greencastle Sept. 20, 1875, a son of Enoch Albert and Patty Tailor Branson. He was married Jan. 21, 1904 to Minerva Myrtle Brown, who preceded him in death. Also deceased is an infant daughter, Minnie Oliver Branson. Mr. Branson was the last of a family of nine children. He retired 26 years ago from the Pennsylvania Railroad. The body is at the Noble Reeves Funeral Home. Mr. Branson had requested there be no flowers and the casket was closed. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. No services are announced. Burial will be in the Russellville Cemetery.
