Walter V. Bratton, 94, of Rt. 1, Crawfordsville, died Tuesday in the home of his son at Ithaca, N.Y. Mr. Bratton was a retired farmer in the New Ross Community. He was a member of New Ross United Methodist Church. Born Aug. 11, 1882, in Boone County he was a son of Robert L. and Hannah Davis Bratton. He was married to Grace Webster in 1910. She preceded him in death in 1957. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank. Surviving are a son, Robert of Ithaca; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Glim of New Ross; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Link officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.--waw
