New Ross - - William Frank Bratton, 83, a farmer in the New Ross community most of his life, died Friday at New Syrmna Beach, Fla. He had gone there with a brother, Walter Bratton, to spend the winter. Born April 16, 1875 north of New Ross, Mr. Bratton was the son of Robert and Hanna Davis Bratton. He married Ruth Morrison who died four years ago. Mr. Bratton was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mr. Byron Smiley of Alamo; the brother, Walter Bratton of New Ross; a grandson, and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. The minister will be Rev. Guy Tremaine. Burial will be at the New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Monday. - kbz
