Bratton Roseanna McKnight

Mrs. Rose A. Bratton died on last Saturday night at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James Brown. She was born in Mason County, KY on March 17, 1804 and came to Indiana in 1819. She was an excellent woman and her loss is deplored most deeply. The funeral was preached by Rev. Towne and Green on Monday and the remains interred in Oak Hill. - transcribed by kbz
