JAMES E. BRENNAN

James E. Brennan, 71, a native of Crawfordsville, died Thursday at his home in Portsmouth, Va. He moved from Crawfordsville in 1940 and was an employee of the Norfolk Naval Shipyards until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church at Craddock, Va. He was born Dec. 21, 1900, at Crawfordsville, a son of James A. and Nora Brennan. He was married in 1929 to Martha Truax of Alamo. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Dr. James E. Brennan of Bridgewater, Mass., and John W. Brennan of Plymouth, Mich.; a brother, William J. of Crawfordsville, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Hugh, and a sister, Mary. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.--waw
