Mrs. Nellie Opal Bridges, 86, of 320 Lafayette Ave., died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. She was a native of Clay City, born Aug. 28, 1885 to A. J. and Cena Nixon Barrick. She married Noah Hubert Bridges in 1905. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Andrews of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Thelma Walls of Detroit. Funeral rites will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McClanahan Funeral Home in Jasonville, with Rev. Stiles officiating and burial in Peavey Cemetery there. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
