Carl Britton, 69 year old retired painter and paper hanger, died at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle. He had been seriously ill one month. Born July 7, 1889 8n Roachdale, he was the son of Robert and Flora Kent Britton. Only survivors are five cousins, Mrs. Hazel Wilson of North Salem; Miss Mabel Rogers and Art Rogers, both of Indianapolis and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kent of Ladoga. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Britton officiating. Burial in Roachdale Cemetery. - kbz
