Funeral services for Sgt. Lawrence E. Broach, who died February 23, in the Gulf of Mexico, were held at the North Salem Christian church Friday. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Broach of North Salem. While on a training flight from McDill Field, Florida, something went wrong and he was plunged into the Gulf. He is survived by the parents, and a brother; William, who is stationed at Camp Grant Illinois. Burial was made in the Crawfordsville Masonic cemetery. - thanks to Marilyn W. for this one :)
