William C. Broach, 73, city park department employee, died suddenly Wednesday morning in his home 1107 Tuttle Ave. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was found on a couch in the living room by his wife, Olive B. Broach. Born November 25, 1886 in Crawfordsville, Mr. Broach was the son of Jakeand Martha Zachary Broach. He married Olive B. Campbell January 13, 1940. Mr. Broach was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge. He had worked for the city park department in recent years. Previous employment was at the Hoosier Crown Corp. Surviving besides the widow at two daughters, Mrs. Opal Barnhart of near Roachdale, and Mrs. Hazel Ritier of Roachdale; a son, William J. Broach at home; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body was taken to McCloud Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
