George E. Brock died at 3 p.m. yesterday at his home on East College Street after an illness of several months. Death resulted from an attack of grip together with a complication of diseases. He was 33 years of age and leaves a wife and one child. The funeral services were conducted at 11:30 this a.m. by Revs. Tucker, Fuson and Greene and the remains were taken on the afternoon train to Bedford, where they will be interred at Beach Grove cemetery. Mr. Brock moved to Crawfordsville from Bedford several years ago and engaged in the grocery business on East College Street. He was a kind and loving husband and father, a man of industry and sterling integrity and during his comparatively brief residence here made many friends, who sincerely regret the early close of what seemed a useful and happy career. - transcribed by kbz

George E. Brock, aged 33 years, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at his home on east College street. He had been ill several months with the grip and heart trouble. The funeral occurred at 11:30 o’clock Wednesday under the auspices of the IORM and was conducted by Revs. Tucker, Greene & Fuson. The remains were taken to Bedford interment Wednesday. The deceased was an excellent young man and highly esteemed. He leaves a wife and one child. - kbz

George E. Brock died at his home on east College street Tuesday afternoon of consumption at the age of 33 years. The funeral occurred Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock under the auspices of the IORM, Revs. Tucker, Fuson and Greene officiating. The remains were taken to Bedford for interment.
