Converse - Lee Brookshire, 67. husband of the former Maudie Morgan of Waveland died Wednesday in Marion General Hospital where he was hospitalized Friday after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Brookshire was born March 24, 1906 in Grant County a son of Cornelius and Essie Manlove Brookshire. He was married to Mrs. Brookshire in 1936. Surviving with the widow are 4 sons; Donald of Kokomo; Jesse Earl of Converse; Edward of Marion and Eric at home; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Gilliam of Circileville, Ohio, and 9 grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1:30 Saturday in Larrison & Myers Funeral Home here. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
