Miss Clara Judith Brown, 42, native of Montgomery County died suddenly at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Ft. Wayne hospital. Daughter of Charles E. Brown and Della Ethel Henderson Brown the deceased was born Jan 19, 1923 south of Alamo. Surviving are two brothers, Charles E. Brown of Thorntown and Paul Richard Brown of Michigan City; and eight sisters: Mrs. Eddie Griggs of Muncie; Mrs. Arthur Staniforth of Joliet, Ill., Mrs. Perry Thomas of Terre Haute; Mrs. Frank Moran; Mrs. Paul Burns and Mrs. William Hicks, all of Indianapolis; Mrs. Joel Weir of Rt 4, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Naomi Schaible of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville in charge of Rev. John R. Servies. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
