Duetta Brown, 66, of 1106 Tuttle Ave., a retired employee of Culver Hospital, died early this morning in the hospital. She was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church and Women of the Moose. Mrs. Brown was born at Linden on Feb. 22, 1910, a daughter of William and Alice Foster Gobel. She married Ollie Brown at Crawfordsville in 1927. He died April 15, 1960. Surviving are three sons, Ollie Jr. of Crawfordsville, George of New Ross and James of El Rio, Calif.; a daughter, Betty L. West of Waynetown; two brothers, Jesse Gobel of Crawfordsville and Morris Gobel of Avon; and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Nunan of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Belle Gill; a brother; and a sister. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
