Mrs. Hallie Ima Brown, 65, a resident of the Crawfordsville area for most of her life, died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday in the Tipton Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1896, near Alamo. Her parents were Alan and Estella Grimes Moore. She was first married to Glenn Eggers in 1915. Later she married Virgil Brown in 1934. She was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Ivall Dean Farley of Darlington, Mrs. Wilma Farley of Lafayette and Mrs. Ruby Minx of San Antonio, Tex.; three brothers, Louis, Leland and Anson of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by two children, Helen June Brown and Benton Gordon Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John L. Simpson of Darlington in charge. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
