Ollie N. Brown Jr., 54, of 1018 Tuttle Ave., died at 10:11 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital Emergency Room. A retired welding shop supervisor at Hyster, he served in the National Guard and at the Armory for 11 years. He was born Jan. 8, 1928, at Crawfordsville, a son of Ollie N. and Duetta Gobel Brown. He married Hazel Dolph on July 19, 1966, at Crawfordsville. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Vickie Trinkle of Beaumont, Texas and Theresa Van Hook of Waynetown; two brothers, George Edward of Waveland and James L. of Oxnard, Calif.; a sister, Betty West of Waynetown; and a grandchild. His parents and a sister are deceased. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Mark Strothmann officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with graveside services by the American Legion. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home.
