Miss Sarah Brown, aged 53, a respected resident of New Market died at Culver Union hospital Monday afternoon, having never recovered from the shock of an operation performed at 9 o'clock in the morning for a form of internal cancer. Miss Brown had been in bad health for some time and the lowered vitality was unequal to the shock of the operation. Miss Brown has been a long time resident of New Market and was noted for her kindly disposition and aimable ways. She is survived by her mother, Mary Brown of New Market, and sister, Julia Brown with whom she made her home, James Brown of this city and Mrs. DE Boone of Anderson, Ind. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. WE Hedrick at the Christian Church at New Market Wednesday morning at 10:30. - kbz
