GUION - Mrs. Marian Bruin, 52, of Rt. 2 Rockville, a member of the Parke County Red Cross board, died unexpectedly at 9:07 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, where she had been admitted 18 hours earlier. Mrs. Bruin, a resident of this area 34 years, had been employed as a supervisor of the sorting crew at Funk Bros. Seed Co. at Rockville. She was a past matron of Judson Chapter 382 OES, a member of the Better Homemakers Home Ec Club and a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was born June 7, 1915, in Rement, Ill., a daughter of Jacob and Daisy (Myers) Fought. She married Robert Bruin Feb. 14, 1933. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Phyliss) Snodgrass of Rt. 1, Judson and Mrs. Donald (Joan) Voigt of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Noble Fought of LaCrosse, Wis., and Francis Fought of Michigan City; four sisters, Mrs. Agnes Gentry of Apaloca, Fla., Mrs. Jack (Lena) McCampbell of Park Rapids, Minn., Mrs. Ivan (Marie) Douglas of Champaign, Ill., and Mrs. Emery (Inez) Stabler of Rt. 3, Rockville and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 11, 1965, a sister and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville with Rev. Fred Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Bruin Cemetery near Guion. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today. -- typed by Chris M
