Joseph Francis Bradley was born January 11, 1864, died April 13, 1902, at his residence here in town, leaving his wife and four daughters with a host of friends to morn.  He married Olive Flannigan March 17, 1889, and for the last few years were enough to dishearten and discourage any man, yet he would not five up but worked with might and main for his family.  His disease, consumption lingered until strangers viewed him with awe and horror as they met him on the street, so thin and poor in flesh was he.  Although a poor man financially he spurned the assistance of anyone and would refuse aid for himself of family.  Saturday he was on the street as usual and Sunday morning he was found dead in his bed.  His funeral was held in the M.E. church Tuesday, burial at the Hutton cemetery. - kbz
