CRAWFORDSVILLE, June 16 - William C. Brandon, 81, died at his home five miles southeast of here this afternoon at 1 o'clock after an illness of four weeks. He was born on October 18, 1853 in Tennessee, the son of Nathan and Nancy (Moore) Brandon. On October 18, 1874, he married Miss Catherine Daily, who survives, with a daughter, Mrs. Charles Elmore, of near Crawfordsville. He had lived the past 32 years on the farm where he died.
Funeral services will be held from Whitesville Christian church, of which he was a member, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Cecil Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery. - thanks to KH
