Bessie F. Bratton, 69, died yesterday in her home, 1942 N. Tibbs. Born in Montgomery County, Mrs. Bratton had lived in Indianapolis 44 years. She was a member of North Park Chapter of Eastern Star and Wesley Methodist Church where she had been organist since childhood. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home with burial in the K of P Cemetery at Mace. Survivors are the husband, Ralph W. Bratton; a son, Byron L. Bratton, Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Frances Shelburne, Indianapolis; two brothers, Warren and Charles Linn, Crawfordsville and four grandchildren. – kbz
