Ladoga, Ind July 25 – William Britts, aged 44 years died at his home in Scott Township Wed evening after an illness of several months caused by cancer of the bowel. He underwent an operation last fall but this failed to save his life. Funeral services will be held at the home, three miles southwest of here Saturday. Rev. WT Brooks officiating. Burial will be made in Ladoga Cemetery. Mr. Britts was born in Scott Township in 1868 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dvid Britts. Mr. Britts was a well known and highly respected citizen and was a musician of more than ordinary ability. For many years he was leader of the Ladoga band. His widow and parents survive him. An adopted son, a nephew of Mrs. Britts is also living. Mr. Britts was a life-long member of the Christian Church. - kbz
