Orville Richard “Dick” Brock (Aug 17, 1926 – April 19, 2002) 75, Crawfordsville died 7:10 p.m. Friday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mr. Brock was retired from Plastines as a maintenance man and foreman after 46 years of service. He also had owned the Snacker Grill, Crawfordsville since June 1973. His memberships included Victor Fellowship Church; Moose Lodge; Eagles; American Legion; Square Dancers and CB Weather Club. He attended Hartford City, Ind schools. He was born Aug 17, 1926 at Hartford City to Orville and Goldie Jones Brock. He married Roberta B. Jones on June 9, 1950 at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Richard David and Michael Robert, both of Crawfordsville; Three brothers Frances, Hartford City; Bill, Alexandria and Benny, Beehe, Ark; three sisters, Irene Thompson, Hartford City; Marie Markey, Elkhart and Helen Margaret, Monroe; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Harold Holt officiating. Graeside services are scheduled 2 p.m. Thursday in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m. until services Tuesday in the funeral home. – kbz
