Mrs. Sarah Brower, aged 75 years, died this morning at 5:30 o’clock at the home of her son-in-law, J. D. Tracy, on South Walnut Street. The funeral announcement will be made later.
Mrs. Brower as born July 18, 1818 at Sorbers Mills, Ohio. In 1870 she came to this county with her husband, now deceased, and has lived here ever since. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a consistent Christian who will be mourned by all who knew her during her long and valuable life. She leaves three sons, Louis, George, and Ed and three daughters, Mrs. Tracy, Mrs. Mary Swisher of Kansas, and Louise Crider of Mississippi. Three sisters in Ohio also survive her.
