John L. Brown, for many years a resident of this city, died at the home of his son, Hugh, in Terre Haute, Monday, at the age of seventy two years. His remains arrived at 6:15 Tuesday evening over the Vandalia and were buried at Oak Hill Cemetery immediately upon their arrival. He leaves a wife and three children: Hugh, of Terre Haute, and Horace G. and Imogene, of this city. Mr. Brown was a most excellent citizen in all the relations of life. The funeral services were held at Terre Haute Tuesday.
