MOORESVILLE — John Robert Brown, 52, Mooresville, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 in Mooresville. He was born Nov 15, 1949 in Crawfordsville, the son of James Oliver and Betty Ruth Donovan Brown. He married Cynthia Ann Palmer Oct. 12, 1969 in Mooresville. She survives. He was a carpenter for Rolls Royce, Plant 5, Indianapolis, for 17 years. He was an avid hunter and Harley Davidson Motorcyclist. He was a member of UAW Local 933 and a graduate of Fountain Central High School, Veedersburg. Survivors, besides the wife, include: a son, Brian Keith Brown, Mooresville; a daughter, Brenda Kaye Conner, Camby; two sisters, Sara Morrison, Kingman and Carolyn Dudding, Christiansburg, Va.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with the Rev. Glen Dudding officiating.
